How does TrueCut connect to AI agents?+
TrueCut uses MCP, an open standard that gives AI agents access to external tools. Once connected, your agent can generate images, direct videos, train reusable identities, and browse your creation history in the same conversation.
Which agents are supported?+
TrueCut works with Claude, ChatGPT developer apps, Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, OpenClaw, Hermes, and other clients that support remote MCP servers.
What models are available?+
Your agent can browse the live TrueCut catalog and select from image, video, speech, editing, and upscaling models. You can choose a model yourself or let the agent route the task.
What can I create?+
Generate images, directed video, talking avatars, product photoshoots, marketing videos, marketplace cards, brand assets, thumbnails, and consistent character campaigns.
Do I need an API key?+
No. Paste the TrueCut MCP URL into your agent and sign in through the browser. OAuth keeps your password out of the agent and connects work to your existing account.
How does pricing work?+
Agent generations use the same TrueCut credits as the web studio. Account checks, model discovery, tool discovery, and cost estimates do not spend credits.
How long does generation take?+
Images usually finish first; video takes longer depending on the selected model and duration. Jobs run asynchronously, so your agent can poll and return the finished asset.
Can I reuse previous generations?+
Yes. Your agent can browse your account-scoped history and assets, inspect completed generations, and use earlier work as reference material for the next step.
